Holy Craps

Stranded in a space-time bubble. In Las Vegas. In a casino called Casino Cesar Eden Palace.

Jesus is transported through a space-time anomaly and finds himself trapped inside the Casino Cesar Eden Palace — a vast, gaudy Las Vegas casino from which there is no escape. God the Father, it seems, has sent him here for a reason: to save souls in a place seemingly designed to destroy them.

One by one, he will encounter his future apostles — not fishermen on the Sea of Galilee, but a pool lifeguard with a slot machine addiction, a calculating hotel tax collector, a seductive regular at the casino bar. They are undisciplined, not particularly bright, and absolutely not what Jesus expected.

Meanwhile, Roman soldiers — now tax enforcers in uniform — patrol the gaming floor on behalf of the hotel management. General Génitalus runs the establishment with theatrical incompetence. Herod, Mayor of Las Vegas and casino owner, observes from his penthouse. The Pharisees lurk near the craps table, filing reports.
